A new residential project has been approved for construction at 2364 Road 20 in San Pablo. The project proposal includes the development of a five-story multi-family residential building on a site that currently has a building that was once used as a nursery.
San Pablo Road 20, LLC is the property owner and developer. Arris Studio Architects is responsible for the designs.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 1.04 acres. The project will bring 64 residential units into a five-story building. The residences will be designed as a mix of eight studios, 44 one-bedroom units, eight two-bedroom units and four three-bedroom units. Six units will be set aside as affordable units for very-low income residents. The development will feature 71 on-site parking spaces, both on surface spots and within three lifts. There will also be parking for bicycles.
The project incorporates site landscaping that includes bio-retention along the creek. The project site is located at the intersection of San Pablo Avenue and Road 20 in San Pablo.
Renderings reveal the five-story building will rise to a height of 65 feet. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
