Preliminary permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new residential community proposed for development along Sorento Road in Natomas, Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of 150+ residences, a public park, and landscaped common areas.
Peter Cononelos of Mani Imports is listed as the property owner.
The project site is a large parcel spanning an area of 188 acres. The project proposes the suburban expansion off Sorento Road in North Natomas, Sacramento. The application uses Senate Bill 330 to expedite the approval process and ensure some of the homes will be designated as affordable.
The application requests for 1) Tentative Subdivision Map to subdivide the project site into 153 residential lots, and lots for a public park, and common landscaping; and, 2) Site Plan and Design Review of the map with deviations to reduce the minimum required lot size, lot width, and lot depth and to exceed the maximum allowed lot size and lot depth.
The project site is located toward north of Del Paso Boulevard and west of Sorento Road. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
