Construction updates have been released for a new apartment building proposes at 815 Old County Road in Belmont. The project proposal includes the construction of a new four-story multifamily residential building offering onsite amenities and parking.
Carmel Partners is the project developer. PYATOK Architecture + Urban Design is responsible for the designs.
Named The Hayden in Belmont, the residential community is getting ready to offer 177 units. The complex falls within the Belmont Village Specific Plan, and lies within walking distance of the Belmont Caltrain station.
The privately funded multifamily development will be erected on a vacant site that spans 1.74 acres. The units will be designed as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans. Residents will be able to enjoy onsite amenities and garage parking for 200 vehicles. The ground floor will consist of a leasing office, lounge, lobby, and service spaces. The upper floors consist of residential flats with a resident lounge and roof deck on level 5.
The four-story will rise in wood frame type V-A construction, arranged around a central courtyard, on top of a single-story concrete podium with a basement. The basement will be utilized as garage parking.
Construction is anticipated to wrap up in Spring 2024. More information on the project can be found here.
