Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new residential project proposed for development at 1742 Jackson Street in Santa Clara. The project proposal includes the construction of a new two-story building with an attached Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU).
The project site spans an area of 1,432 square feet. The scope of work includes the development of a new two-story building with an attached Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU). The project site is currently developed with a three-bedroom one-bathroom residence.
An SB9 application has been submitted, pending review and approval. It allows homeowners to create up to four homes on an existing parcel, in effect, eliminating single-family-only zoning.
The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet. Cost of construction is estimated at $732,800. More information on the project design team is yet to be revealed. Stay tuned to sfyimby.com for more such updates.
