Development permits have been submitted to approve new construction on 653-655 Fell Street in Hayes Valley, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the demolition of three-story residential units and two residential units on the lot. EAG Studio is managing the design concepts and construction of the project. Redwood Properties is the owner.
The new construction will reinstate the previous features and uses at the property along with some facade restoration. The residential building will contain two dwelling units spanning over 1,700 square feet each. The project also proposes a shared garage space measuring 600 square feet. The garage space will offer two car parking spaces, two bicycle parking spaces, four decks as open spaces.
The site is located on the south side of Fell Street between Webster and Buchanan Streets. The estimated cost of construction is $250,000.
A Conditional Use Authorization request has been submitted and is proposed for Continuance. On January 28th, 2021 at 1 PM, the San Francisco Planning Commission held a meeting to decide on the construction permits. At the meeting, the commission agreed on approving the project authorization. Details of the meeting can be found here.
