Development permits have been submitted for requesting the approval to convert the existing retail space in 135 Post Street in Lower Nob Hill, San Francisco. The project proposal includes converting the retail area on levels three, four, five, and six into office use. The conversion will result in 49,000 square feet of retail space being converted into office space. WZ Architecture is managing the design concepts and construction of the project.

The building’s lower floors will continue to serve as retail space. The project requires a Conditional Use Authorization to approve the construction. The project also requires an Office Allocation Authorization for the 49,000 square feet of office use. The total proposed retail area is 24,500 square feet.

Lower Nob Hill is a pleasant neighborhood in downtown San Francisco with quiet streets and scenic views. The location is close to Union Square and Financial District. There are plenty of retail stores and restaurants in the vicinity. The site is also well-serviced by MUNI bus lines like 1, 8, 9, 12 19, 27, and 38.
