Planning review permits have been filed for a three-story hotel at 6600 Stockton Boulevard in Southeastern Sacramento. The project would create a 34 guest-room extended stay site nearby a retail hub for the predominately suburban neighborhood. The identity of the applicant has not been shared.

The lot is positioned between Elder Creek Road and 65th Street. The Stockton Boulevard-65th Street intersection is nine minutes away from the proposed hotel on foot. Pedestrians can find a hypermarket retail chain, grocery store, and retail plaza with small cafes and restaurants from the intersection.

The property was listed in 2016, represented by Keller Williams Realty Elk Grove. An unnamed buyer purchased 660 Stockton Boulevard in October of 2020 for $349,000.

The proposed hotel is expected to cost $2.5 million to complete, producing 34 rooms and parking for 18 vehicles. A timeline for construction and the expected completion date has not been announced.
