A preliminary application has been submitted to the City Planning Commission of San Jose, seeking the approval of a large industrial complex proposed at 2222 Qume Drive in North San Jose. The project proposal includes the development of an industrial park slated to operate 24/7. Plans call for the demolition of three existing buildings on the site.

Bridge Development Partners is the project developer. Herdman Architecture + Design is responsible for the design concepts and construction.

The project site is a lot spanning an area of 32.8 acres and houses three buildings yielding an area of 425,400 square feet. The project will bring four new industrial and warehouse buildings that together will total 719,400 square feet. The buildings will have varying sizes: 358,200 square feet, 202,700 square feet, 83,800 square feet, and 69,800 square feet.

Demolition will begin in April 2024, construction will start in August 2024, and completion will occur in September 2025. The first tenants will be able to occupy the building in October 2025. Acting through an affiliate, Bridge Development paid $134million for the property.

The property site is located at the corner of Qume and Commerce drives.
