A new master plan has been initiated by the city for review at 1555 Plymouth Street in the North Bayshore Area in Mountain View. The Master Plan includes new development standards for the Gateway area located within the North Bayshore Precise Plan area, which will help implement the goals and objectives of the Precise Plan.
The site is owned by multiple property owners.
Named Gateway Site, the project site is a parcel spanning an area of 28 acres. The project proposes diverse land uses for the site, including office, residential, hotel, entertainment, retail/services, fitness, and open space. The North Bayshore Precise Plan envisions the Gateway Character Area as a mixed-use urban center within the Joaquin Complete Neighborhood.
The Gateway Master Plan is consistent with most Precise development standards, such as building height, setbacks, parking requirements for the area. The building height limit is 140 feet for non-residential structures and 160 feet for residential structures.
The project plans are under review and a meeting is scheduled today, details of which can be found here.
The property site is located near US 101 freeway and North Shoreline Boulevard.
