A preliminary review has been filed seeking the review of a mixed-use proposed at 1737 North First Street in San Jose. The project proposal includes the development of a 12-story mixed-use building offering residential spaces and office spaces in two towers alongwith onsite parking.
Pacific Resources First American LLC is the project developer.
The project will bring 510 residential units spanning 443,440 square feet in two ten-story high towers above a podium parking structure. The parking structure will offer parking for up to 620 cars. The residences will be offered as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units. The project will also include a six-story office building measuring an area of 84,5000 square feet. Amenity space of 10,500 square feet offering a clubhouse and open spaces will be designed in the building.

If the project is approved, it will be a nice infill development taking advantage of the current large underutilized surface parking lot, possibily allowing for similar developments to be built on other large surface parking lots in the golden triangle of North San Jose that is ripe of this type of residential high rise infill development.
This residential development will be developed adjacent to Swenson’s twin Century Residential Towers on North 1st Street.
