The project site is a parcel spanning an area go 0.97 acres. Site development permit filed seek the demolition of two existing single family residences and the removal of 29 trees (9 ordinance-size, 20 non-ordinance-size) for the construction of a seven-story building offering 140 apartments. The apartment complex will yield a total built-up area of 20,940 square feet.
The project site sits adjacent to Five Wounds Urban Village, 0.2 miles from planned BART and in close proximity to Google campus.

I don’t “necessarily” oppose development like this. What I oppose is a rendering that implies there’s nothing but open green space on either side of this. That is definitely not the case here.
You are spot on. As I was reading the article and looking at the rendering I was trying to figure out where exactly this is located. I think this should fall under ‘truth in advertising”.
