A new affordable housing project has been approved for development at 2956 International Boulevard in Fruitvale, Oakland. The project proposal includes the construction of a five-story building offering 100 % affordable housing units.
TPC CS Holdings LLC is the property owner. Pacific West Communities Inc is the project applicant. AO Architects is responsible for the designs.
The project site is a vacant lot spanning an area of 24, 430 square feet. The proposed residential project will offer 100 units at affordable prices. The total residential area is 66,975 square feet and the building will span across a footage of 13,395 square feet. On-site amenities will occupy a space of 1,300 square feet on the ground floor.
The five-story building will feature a facade in stucco finish with vinyl windows and metal canopies. The building will rise to a height of 65 feet.
Utilizing SB-35, the project received approval less than four months after being proposed. The project site is located between International Boulevard and Derby.
