A new office building has been proposed for development at 2 West 3rd Avenue in San Mateo. The project proposal includes the construction of a new three-story office building with onsite bike parking and landscaped open areas.
Arc Tec Inc. is responsible for the designs. Taniguchi Landscape Architecture is responsible for landscaping.

The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 11,464 square feet. The office building will yield a total built-up area of 19,989 square feet. The office building will feature a deck. The scope of work includes the construction of the building shell and core as well as site improvements as sidewalks, curb, bike racks, street trees, and landscaping. 52 bike parking spaces will also be designed on the site. No vehicular parking is proposed.

San Mateo Planning Commission has scheduled a pre-application review meeting today at 7:oo pm, details of joining can be found here. The project review includes building design–overall architectural style, corner treatment, and transition to adjacent buildings. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
