New building permits have been filed to construct an Additional Dwelling Unit behind 1704 Irving Street in Inner Sunset, San Francisco. The project proposal includes the construction of a two-story single-family residential building with an ADU.
The project site spans an area of 3,084 square feet. The scope of work includes the construction of a new two-story residential building in type V-B construction. The residential building will also feature an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) in the rear yard.
The project site is currently occupied by a mixed-use triplex; two one-bedroom-one-bathroom units and commercial space.
The total cost of construction is estimated at $150,000. Project documents have been submitted for review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
The project site is located one block from Golden Gate Park and in the middle of a vibrant commercial district in the Inner Sunset. The site is conveniently located within blocks of multiple shopping and dining districts, easy access to the park, and plenty of MUNI stops nearby.
