A senior housing residential project has been scheduled for development at 1335-1385 Galindo Street in Concord. The project proposal includes the construction of a seven-story assisted living facility offering 150 dwelling units for seniors, along with onsite parking, services, and care.
AVESTA Development Group is the project developer. Irwin Partners Architects is responsible for the designs. Smith + Smith Landscape Architects is responsible for landscaping.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 1.09 acres. The assisted living facility will yield a total built-up area spanning 139,551 square feet. The facility will consist of 117 assisted living and 33 memory care units. The building height will rise to 105 feet. Onsite parking for 64 vehicles, 2 motorcycles, and 12 bikes will also be provided.
The project application requests for a two-year extension of the approval for the AVESTA Assisted Living Facility. The first extension was approved by the Planning Commission on July 7, 2021.
