The project site, located at 1911 3rd Street, currently comprises 10 small vacant lots that would be combined for the project. However, information about the project’s expected timeline is extremely limited.
If fully constructed, the total scope would reach 29,640 gross square feet, divided among 72 residential units. Exact bedroom numbers have not been specified, but rough estimates of unit size indicate approximately 57 smaller units and 15 larger units. The applicant is reportedly considering making up to 36 of the units income-restricted.
The neighborhood of Southside Park is located within the central area of Sacramento. Nearby buildings include other apartment buildings, offices, and facilities of a similar scale to the proposed project. Amenities like shops and restaurants are within a short drive of the location.
