Affordable Housing Proposed For 1227 33rd Avenue in Fruitvale, Oakland

Preliminary permits have been filed for an affordable housing infill at 1227 33rd Avenue by the Fruitvale BART Station in Oakland, Alameda County. The project will bring new senior housing to a vacant parcel next to the transit stop. Unity Council is responsible for the application.

Casa Sueños Affordable Housing Opens in Fruitvale, Oakland

BRIDGE Housing and the Unity Council have officially opened Casa Sueños, a four-story affordable housing complex at 3511 East 12th Street in Fruitvale, Oakland. The project, which will bring 181 units immediately next to the Fruitvale BART Station, is Phase IIB of the mixed-use Fruitvale Transit Village.
