A new large-scale residential-retail development has been proposed at 5400 Live Oak Avenue in Oakley. The project proposal includes the development of eight structures offering spaces for retail, residential, and industrial uses. Theproject site is currently used as a vineyard.

Live Oak Investors is listed as the developer. Stonegate Associates LLC is listed as the owner. Wood Rodgers, Inc is the project engineer.

The project site is comprised of four lots totaling an area of 4.7 acres. Named Live Oak Industrial Park, the scope of work includes the construction of 16 condominium units. Each lot will span an area of 1 to 1.2 acres, where each lot includes two 8,000 square feet light industrial buildings, each split into two condominiums, and dedicating approximately 0.18 acres of right of way along Live Oak Avenue.

Requested design review is for site development, stormwater control, landscaping, utilities, and infrastructure, and for building architecture of the eight proposed structures.

Previously, in 2015, the developer had applied for permits with the intent of developing the property as a commercial/retail development.

The project is under review. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
