The project will add four units to the neighborhood. It is typical for apartments to be divide into one on each floor with an infill development like this. However, the lot size is relatively narrow, stretching across the block from 7th street to Langton Street. Construction is estimated to cost $600,000. The existing structure on site is a two-story commercial building. Demolition permits have not been filed.

The developer and architecture for the project are not listed. However, as of 2015, the existing building was owned by Rice Family San Francisco LLC, likely linked with Rice Financial Consulting Inc investment advisors firm.
