Permits have been filed to demolish a single-story house and construct a two-story single-family dwelling at 231 and 235 Wilde Avenue, San Francisco. The construction site is a 50 feet x 100 feet lot located on Wilde Avenue’s south side in the Visitacion Valley neighborhood. The proposed project will demolish the existing two-story single-family dwelling, subdivide into two 2,500 sq. ft. parcels and construct a single-family residence on each lot. Schaub Ly Architects is managing the project.
The proposal includes a ground floor consisting of a two-car parking garage with two bicycle parking in front and a family room, one bedroom, one bathroom, and a laundry room behind the garage. The second floor is the main level, featuring the kitchen, dining, living, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. There is an open space at the rear yard and a small deck on the second floor.
The site is within half a mile of MUNI stops for lines 56, 8, and KT. The estimated cost of construction is $600,000. A completion date has not been announced yet.
