Development permits were submitted for approving the construction of a five-story residential building on two vacant lots at 1055 Texas Street in Potrero Hill, San Francisco. The project includes a forty-nine feet high residential building with twenty-five residential units. The construction site is toward the east side of Texas Street between 23rd and 25th Streets. SIA Consulting is managing the design concepts and construction of this project.
The condominium unit will feature a mix of five studios, five one-bedroom units, fourteen two-bedroom units, and one three-bedroom unit.
The proposed building will contain approximately 20,329 square feet of gross area, including 3,015 square feet of shared space and 374 square feet of private open space for the residents in the read yard and roof decks above the fourth and fifth floors. A total of twenty-five basement-level class 1 and four sidewalk-level class 2 bicycle parking spaces are also a part of the construction.
On Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 1 PM, the San Francisco Planning Commission held a meeting to decide on the construction permits. At the meeting, the commission agreed on approving the project authorization. Details of the meeting can be found here.
The location is serviced by MUNI bus lines like 8, 8BX, 14, and 19.
