Development permits were submitted for approving the construction of an apartment complex at 7699 Klotz Ranch Court in Z’berg Park, Sacramento. The project proposal includes a request for land use entitlements to construct a 266-unit apartment complex on an approximately 12.7-acre parcel. The project is proposed by the Spanos Companies.
A Denver-based residential architecture and land planning design firm, KEPHART, is managing the design concepts and construction. GHD Projects is in charge of landscape design.
Renderings reveal that the proposed apartment complex will include six four-story buildings and offer on-site amenities such as a clubhouse, small and large gathering spaces, and a bike parking and maintenance room. The four-story residential building will feature four forty-two plexes, two forty-nine plex units, one two-story clubhouse spanning over 6,300 square feet. Five hundred twenty-five bike parking spaces are also allowed.
The applicant is required to obtain a Planned Unit Development (PUD) land use schematic plan amendment to allow multi-family residential units, a Tree Permit to remove three private protected trees and one city tree, and Site Plan and Design Review for site development. The schematic plan amendment is scheduled to be heard by the Planning Commission on January 28, 2021.
