The Planning Commission of Milpitas will be reviewing an application seeking the approval of a multi-family residential building at 308 Sango Court, Milpitas. The project proposal includes the demolition of an existing industrial building and the construction of a six-story residential building. The proposal also requests the removal of three protected trees.
The project site is a parcel that spans an area of approximately 1.11 acres. The six-story multi-family residential building will offer 85 below-market-rate dwelling units. A parking garage with a capacity of 48 vehicles will be planned at the ground floor level. 20,788 square feet of well-landscaped public spaces will be designed. The residential complex will also offer on-site private open spaces to its residents.
The Planning Commission will be conducting a meeting to review site development permits, density bonus permits, and environmental assessment on June 23, 2021, details of which could be found here.
The site currently houses a movers & packers office which will be demolished. The project construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
The project site is located at the intersection of Sango Court and Montague Expressway, near 680 and 880 freeways.
