Development plans for a retail project at 3171 West El Camino Avenue, Sacramento have been revised. The project proposal includes the construction of a new coffee shop with double drive-thru lanes. The proposal also includes the addition of new elements and the elimination of some.

Illinois-based developer, SKW Capital is listed as the project applicant. FM Group Inc is managing the design concepts and construction.

Named River Oaks Marketplace, the property site is a parcel spanning an area of 5.23 acres. The retail hub will now feature a McDonald’s and will no longer have a Quick Quack Car Wash. The McDonald’s outlet will occupy an area of 4,500 square feet. The coffee shop by Dutch Bros Coffee will span an area of 880 square feet, offering service via a kiosk/drive-thru.

Revised plans also reveal landscaped areas, showcasing trees, green spaces, and a patio. On-site parking will also be planned.

The estimated cost of construction of the project is $285,000. The date of project completion has not been announced yet.

The property site is located toward the northwest corner of West El Camino and Orchard Lane in the South Natomas area. A 7-Eleven and a gas station are also included in the project.
