Permits have been filed seeking the approval of a residential project at 3742 Mount Diablo Boulevard in Lafayette, Contra Costa County. The project proposal includes the redevelopment of an existing office building into a residential complex.
Outdo is listed as the property owner. Ward-Young Architecture & Planning is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
The property site is a parcel spanning an area of 16,117 square feet. The project proposes to convert an existing office building into six residential condominiums. The office building measures an area of 6,810 square feet, and the proposed building will yield a built-up area of 8,063 square feet. The project also includes the addition of 1,101 square feet of living space, existing decks, and walkways. Eleven protects trees are also proposed to be removed from the site.
City Planning Commission has scheduled a meeting to review the project on Tuesday, September 7 at 7 PM. Details of the meeting can be found here.
The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet. The project site sits behind the new Woodbury Condominiums.
