Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a medical office building project proposed at 200 North Bascom Avenue in the Rose Garden district of San Jose. The project proposal includes the development of a new four-story medical office with onsite parking. Plans call for the demolition of the existing building on site.
Ratcliff is responsible for the design concepts.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 0.46 acres. The project proposes to construct an office building spanning an area of 4,987 square feet for medical uses. The building will contain two floors of below grading parking and surface parking at the rear of the site. Ingress and egress to and from the underground garage are provided from a 19-foot wide driveway on North Bascom Avenue.
The building will use moment frame Conxtech Structural System.
The property site is located at the northeast intersection of North Bascom Avenue and Forest Avenue.
The public is welcome to review and comment on the Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND). The public comment period for the Draft MND begins on November 17, 2021, and ends on December 7, 2021.
