Permits have been filed seeking the approval of a residential care facility proposed at 824 San Antonio Road in Palo Alto. The project proposal includes the development of a four-story private residential care facility. Plans call for the demolition of an existing commercial structure spanning an area of 8,631 square feet.
Rachelle Cagampan LLC the property owner. Fora Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
The project will bring a four-story residential care facility spanning an area of 53,855 square feet. The private residential care facility will offer 13 independent senior dwelling units, 1 private owner’s unit, 8 assisted living units and an 8-bed skilled nursing facility. Ground-level resident amenities and underground parking will be developed on the site. Commercial space spanning an area of 1,000 square feet will be available for leasing on the ground floor.
Renderings reveal a contemporary facade designed in neutral palettes of stone, wood, plaster, glass, and metal. The mass of the building features strong vertical solid stone and transparent glazing with balconies to create order and depth.
The project awaits a preliminary architectural review. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
