The project site is a triangular parcel spanning an area of 1.25 acres. Named Exhibit at Japantown Apartments, the complex features 97 residences with unit sizes ranging from 576 square feet to 1,618 square feet. Catering to meet the needs of young professionals, the units are designed as a mix of  one-to-four-bedroom curated flats and apartments. Onsite amenities include a two-story fitness studio and a two-story community commons with a convertible wall connecting the Zen-inspired outdoor courtyard. In a mezzanine overlooking the commons, residents can avail a co-working environment that supports flexible working requirements.

The top floor exhibits a feng shui-themed sky deck, gaming nook and an art gallery, Empire Seven Studios. The art gallery, Empire Seven Studios (E7S), is a San Jose urban contemporary art gallery. E7S will host several art exhibits and feature large art installations from artists like Roan Victor, Amy Sol, Andrew Schoultz and many more. The property also features two sculpture gardens for both residents and the public to enjoy.

The mixed-use apartment community is located in the heart of Silicon Valley. Renderings feature contemporary and minimalist Japanese architecture styles, reflecting the local aesthetics of the area. The facades feature vertical glazing systems, contrasting yet complementing materials rendered in solid and transparent looks. The building incorporates fiber cement around windows and on the main massing to create visually appealing details.

The developers hope for the community to be seen as a valuable addition to the existing urban scene in the area.

  1. I am permanently disabled and would be interested to apply for 1/3 low income apartments. How can I get the application to get on the wait list? My cell phone number is (669) 216-6946.

  2. Are you hiring for maintenance tech
