Last week the Sacramento Planning and Design Commission approved JEN Partners’s application to rezone 4.87 acres of land from Office/Agriculture to single or duplex housing. The proposed project, ParkBridge East, will subdivide the area into 41 residential lots. Each lot will remain a single-unit housing, most likely to be developed as unattached tract housing.

The project location lies just south of Interstate 80, at the intersection of Terraview Street and Havenparke Way in North Sacramento. To the west and South continue the larger ParkBride neighborhood, while the area to the east will remain undeveloped or open space land.

Designs for the future houses have not yet been released, but proposal documents include site blocking and detailed infrastructure plans for the new development. The site, designated Village 5, will be included in the overall ParkBridge residential neighborhood plan.

The proposal will now move before the Sacramento City Council for full approval.

  1. Same old, same old.
    Nothing to see here folks.
Yesterday’s solution for today’s problem isn’t a good fix because yesterday’s solutions contributed today’s problems.
Do these developers ever learn anything new?
