Formal planning applications have been submitted for a five-story residential infill at 2910 Ramona Avenue in Sacramento. The filing comes a few months after the preliminary filing, which intends to add nearly two hundred units to a vacant triangular parcel close to the CSU Sacramento campus. Tarik Taeha is listed as the project owner and developer.

The 67-foot-tall structure is expected to yield around 87,300 square feet, including 181 student-oriented apartments and 16,050 square feet in the basement garage. Unit types will vary with 44 studios, 108 one-bedrooms, and 29 two-bedrooms. Parking will be included for 30 cars and 22 bicycles.
Ramos Design Group is the project architect. The overall design scheme has not changed since the preliminary application was submitted two months ago. The structure conforms to the irregular parcel shape with a narrow linear pathway carved out of the center of the floor plan. Illustrations show the structure clad with vertically fluted aluminum panels punctuated by bright yellow and orange inset balconies.

Next to 2910 Ramona Avenue is The Crossings, a five-story student-oriented apartment complex developed by AmCal Housing. The Crossing features approximately 250 units across three buildings.
The 0.8-acre property is located along Ramona Avenue, near three different train tracks and the El Dorado overpass. Among the selling points for prospective tenants is that the site is close to the California State University, Sacramento campus.
