Additional Permits Filed for 19960 Almaden Road San Jose

A development project located at 19960 Almaden Road in San Jose has filed new permits for the subdivision and grading of a 16.75 acre area in the hills in southern San Jose. The property was first reported on by SF YIMBY in October of last year. Since then new information has become available about the number and nature of units to be built, changing the scope and design of the property considerably.

Both projects were brought by ROEM Corporation, however the revised project increases the proposed number of units from 7 to 44 market rate units, with an additional 6 below market rate units on site.

The substantial increase in development scale is being proposed through Senate Bill 330’s rules for new development. Beyond that information, exact details and plans for the development have yet to be revealed.
