Permits have been filed for an expansion of a single-family house at 871 De Haro Street in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood. The development will expand an over-century-old house with a modern design by a Brooklyn-based architecture firm. Zach Proto is listed as the property owner, filing through Zach 871 LLC.

Brooklyn-based Offline Office is responsible for the design. Renderings show the four-story expansion will be setback from the street, leaving the century-old facade mostly unchanged from pedestrian view. Illustrations show that the facade will be wrapped in black-painted vertical wood siding.

The property is located along De Haro Street between 20th Street and Southern Heights Avenue, a few blocks from the Potrero Branch Library and a grocery store. The development will not result in any residential expansion.
