Permits were filed for the construction of a six-story mixed-use building at 5425 Mission Street, located in the neighborhood of Crocker-Amazon, San Francisco. The lot sits between Florentine and Concord Street. An easy commute to downtown San Francisco is made possible through the Balboa Park BART station and MUNI light rail stop.
The six-story structure will include 50 residential units, as well as ground-floor retail. There will be a basement and an on-site parking garage. Constructed is estimated to cost $5.5 million.
5425 Mission Street is currently home to a 2-story industrial building with gray siding. Demolition permits have been filed earlier this month to make way for the new mixed-use development.
Crocker-Amazon is a high-end neighborhood located in the south-central portion of the city. The neighborhood sports winding streets, a variety of green spaces, and many restaurants and businesses. Most homes in the neighborhood are detached.
