Demolition Permits have been filed for 3275 San Bruno Avenue in Visitacion Valley, San Francisco in order to build a multi-family affordable residential project. The proposal includes demolishing a two-story two-unit building consisting of a warehouse and a private garage. Schaub Ly Architects are managing the demolition and construction.
The project proposes to demolish most of the existing warehouse and utilize the HOME-SF program to construct 69 dwelling units with 29 vehicle parking spaces and 69 bicycle parking spaces. As there are several easements on the site, the homes will be built across four separate buildings. The parcel is about 25,182 square feet, comprising eight parcels along San Bruno Avenue and spanning approximately 537 feet between Mansell and Ward Streets. The existing historic storybook facade and billboard will remain.
The total cost for demolition is estimated at $39,000, with construction to cost at leat $1.9 million. The neighborhood is serviced by MUNI bus lines such as 29, 8, 8AX, 8BX, and MUNI Metro lines like KT and KTBU. The date of completion has not been announced yet.
