Construction is rising for a new five-story apartment at 3945 Judah Street in San Francisco’s Sunset District. The project has replaced the former Eugene’s Automotive Repair shop, with crews now working on bringing twenty apartments close to Ocean Beach and Golden Gate Park. The applicant used HOME-SF to increase the project capacity and ensure five units would be designated as affordable.
Construction is moving forward quickly for the Ventana Residences at 99 Ocean Avenue in Balboa Park, San Francisco. The team is expecting to open the site by March of 2023, becoming the largest HOME-SF Project built in the city. Speaking with YIMBY, Presidio Bay Ventures Managing Director Cyrus Sanandaji shared how the firm achieved this and why Ventana could not be repeated now.
The San Francisco Planning Commission is scheduled to review the proposal for 3055 Clement Street today. The project would rise from a small corner lot in San Francisco’s Outer Richmond with nine units, of which three will be affordable. The proposal is seeking HOME-SF authorization to allow construction, along with exceptions for rear yard requirements and approval for the purposes of CEQA.
Construction has topped out for 99 Ocean Avenue, a six-story residential infill in Balboa Park, San Francisco. The project, dubbed Ventana Residences, will soon open with 193 new homes as the largest project built using the HOME-SF affordable housing development program. Presidio Bay Ventures is the project developer.
New renderings and update plans have been filed for the seven-story residential infill at 5250 Third Street in Bayview, San Francisco. The project will create a hundred rental units with affordable units for local teachers, nurses, and other middle-income professions. The Toboni Group is responsible for the development.
