Construction work has started for the life sciences project at 777 Industrial Road in San Carlos, San Mateo County. The project will add new space to the peninsula’s ever-growing inventory of R&D offices, one of the largest inventories in the country. Presidio Bay Ventures is responsible for the development.

Construction has topped out for 99 Ocean Avenue, a six-story residential infill in Balboa Park, San Francisco. The project, dubbed Ventana Residences, will soon open with 193 new homes as the largest project built using the HOME-SF affordable housing development program. Presidio Bay Ventures is the project developer.
Demolition permits have been filed for the existing garage at 550 O’Farrell Street in the Tenderloin, San Francisco. The property will be replaced with a thirteen-story building with 111 apartments. The new addition is being designed by brick., an Oakland-based architecture firm.

The project proposal includes the redevelopment of the former Primo Honda San Carlos dealership into a four-story research campus. Stanton Architecture and DES Architects & Engineers have partnered up to design the project.
New renderings have been revealed as the preliminary project application has been submitted for the expansion of 200 Kansas Street in SoMa, San Francisco. Situated right on the neighborhood border with Potrero Hill, the proposal will the existing structure’s function as a child daycare center for Bright Horizons at Kansas Street while nearly tripling the laboratory footprint. DES Architects & Engineers is responsible for the design.
