Unity Council is the project sponsor. First Christian Church of Oakland is the project owner.
The project proposes to bring a five-story building offering 70+ affordable units. The project will be developed on the parking lot of the First Christian Church of Oakland. The building will be constructed on a podium. The proposed building is assumed to be Type 1-A podium with 5 floors of type V-A wood framed construction above. No official renderings have been published yet.
A preliminary application has been filed, seeking review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
