A new zoning worksheet was filed for a project that would subdivide the current lot at 5150 Shafter Avenue in Oakland, with plans to build several residential infill properties on the site. The project appears to be sponsored by the site’s private owners rather than a development corporation.
Updated renderings have been published for the five-story senior affordable housing proposal within the 430 Broadway masterplan in Oakland’s Jack London Square neighborhood. The project, currently named 430 Broadway Building A, will replace the surface parking and annex of the former Alameda County Probation Department offices. Related Companies is responsible for the application.
The previously approved project at 6518 San Pablo Avenue was issued some of its building permits earlier this week. Along with the exciting news, the development team also released a more up-to-date visual of what the project is expected to look like. The changes to the building appear to be primarily visual, with the building plans still calling for the same approximate height and number of units as approved earlier this year. Design Manou is the project architect and applicant, filing through Project Zero LLC.

The proposal seeks to add six dwelling units to a vacant parcel near Raimondi Park and Mandela Parkway. The property owner is listed as an Alameda-based individual.
Construction is moving quickly for the six-story affordable housing complex at 3419 San Pablo Avenue in West Oakland, Alameda County. Concrete has already passed the third floor for the housing project, dubbed 34th & San Pablo. Cahill is the general contractor, and EBALDC is the project developer.
