Development permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new residential project proposed at 7700 College Town Drive in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the development of a new four-story building to be used as a student housing apartment complex building. A two-story office building spanning an area of 35,040 square feet will be demolished for the project to be developed.
The project site spans an area of 2.83 acres. The scope of work includes the construction of a new four-story building offering housing for students. The housing complex will offer 124 student housing units, totaling up to 353 beds. The student housing will offer 35 studio units spanning 750 square feet, 37 two-bedroom units ranging between 750-2,000 square feet, and 52 four-bedroom units between 750-2,000 square feet.
The total built-up area is proposed to be 139,949 square feet. The first floor will house space spanning an area of 35,576 square feet, the second, third, and fourth floors will span an area of around 34,791 square feet each. A community center will be designed on the first floor and span an area of 5,760 square feet.
The student housing complex will also offer indoor and outdoor amenities, surface parking, and landscaped open areas.
