Zoning worksheet permits have been filed for a potential new residential infill project at 2923 Webster Street in Pill Hill, Oakland. The proposal is seeking to add 150 units of affordable housing to the property, currently occupied by a three-story medical office center. Christian Mirner of Fortress Capital Group is listed as the project applicant.
Further details about the project have not been published, including the potential floor count, unit types, and residential services. The application does specify that the residences will be affordable, though the affordability type is unclear.

Mirner is responsible for the application, filing through Laboo Ventures LLC. Laboo Ventures LLC purchased the property in 2019 for $3.9 million. The existing building was constructed in 1985, with three floors and roughly 11,000 square feet of floor area.
The 0.3-acre property is located along Webster Street between 29th and 30th Street, half a block away from Broadway. The site is close to a cafe and two grocery stores. The 19th Street Downtown Oakland BART Station is just eight minutes away by bus, or 15 minutes on foot.
The project team has yet to reply to a request for comment.
