New permits have been filed for the 2832 34th Street site in the Oak Park neighborhood of Sacramento. The location was previously reported on by SF YIMBY for a townhome project in 2023. That project has since fallen through, and a new multifamily building project has emerged for the site.

The new project will include two identical four-unit buildings, offering a total of eight new units on the property. Plans for the new building have been submitted to Sacramento Planning, but are not yet publicly available to view. The project is also still awaiting several permit requirements before it can move forward, including a waste management plan and air quality approvals.

The property’s location is fairly walkable, and the neighborhood is already home to many other small multiunit properties. Residents would be only a block from the Broadway commercial corridor, and two blocks from McClatchy Park.
