Permits have been submitted seeking the approval of a new commercial development at 6370 Sky Creek Drive in Sacramento. The project proposal includes the construction of a fabrication shop building with office space. Site improvements are also requested.
Mark III Construction is the general contractor. DMM Holdings LLC is the property owner.
The project site combines two parcels, totaling an area of 3.7 acres. The commercial development will span an area of 49,383 square feet. The site includes an existing 25,000 square foot warehouse. Office space of 800 square feet will be designed. The building will feature a covered entrance measuring an area of 200 square feet. Plans also call for approximately 50,150 square feet of site development work.
The layout includes 81 vehicle parking spaces, with five capable of electric vehicle charging.
Application material submitted reveal a concrete panel exterior, metal trim, metal roll-up doors, and storefront entrance with aluminum windows and doors and metal awnings overhead. A permit to remove one private protected 25-inch cedar tree is also filed.
The estimated cost of the project is $2,750,000. The project is in the site plan and design review stage. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
The property site is surrounded by warehouse buildings and truck storage yards.
