Development permits have been submitted seeking approval for constructing a four-story mixed-use building at 1495 South Winchester Boulevard in David-Rosemary, San Jose. The project proposal includes building forty-six residential units and some retail space. Approximately 4,996 square feet of commercial space is proposed on the ground floor.
Aron Developers is managing the design concept and construction of the project.
The permit also seeks approval of the demolition of an existing commercial structure. The proposed residential complex will span over an area of approximately 69,890 square feet. The mixed-use complex is proposed to rise to approximately fifty-three feet. The residential units will span over an area of 950 square feet per unit.
A courtyard area is planned on the second floor for residential use. Subterranean parking space would be provided in a parking garage accessed from Cadillac Drive.
The estimated date of project completion is June 2021.
The site location is in a walk and bike-friendly residential neighborhood. There are many restaurants, grocery stores, amenities, and convenience stores nearby. The area is well-serviced by MUNI bus lines like 25, 26, 56, 60, and 61.
