A multi-billion-dollar housing development is set to be revealed in Yerba Buena Island, an island settled in the bay between Oakland and San Francisco. Yerba Buena Island will soon be home to 226 apartments with prices starting at $1 million. San Franciscan boutique Real Estate venture, Wilson Meany, is the developer and investor. The Agency and Stockbridge are also managing the development of the project. The project celebrated groundbreaking in mid-2019.
The housing development is a mix of three kinds; condos, townhomes, and flats. The residences will be marketed as The Bristol, The Flats, The Townhomes, The Courtyard Townhomes, and The Estate Homesites. The prices of the 124 units at The Bristol were the first to be announced. Studios are listed for $800,000, one-bedrooms at $1 million, two-bedrooms at $1.7 million, and three-bedrooms at $3 million.
The Bristol Residences, Yerba Buena Island
The Bristol, nested on a hilltop surrounded by forests, offers enthralling panoramic views from the 124 residences on the market. The condominium building is structured around a central open-air landscaped courtyard. Floor plans range in size from roughly 630 to 2,248 square feet. The splendid architecture and design are conceptualized by Hart Howerton and Edmonds + Lee Architects. The homes here feature fully-furnished gourmet kitchens, spa-style bathrooms in two and three-bedroom homes, and floor-to-ceiling windows along with white oak plank flooring running throughout the houses.
The Flats, Yerba Buena Island
The Flats, a luxurious building featuring seven-nine boutique single-floor residences, offers elegant modern interior finishes and stunning outdoor views. The 2,500-4,000 square feet designs are conceptualized by Hart Howerton with complementing interiors by Meyer Davis. Each single-story residence is serviced by a private elevator that opens directly into the home. The residences come with furnished gourmet kitchens with natural stone countertops and wire-brushed oak wood floors.
The Townhomes, Yerba Buena Island
The Townhomes are single-family row houses that are conceptualized to complement the natural contours of the island hillsides. Each home comes with a private entrance, an attached garage, a spacious terrace. The multi-story residences offer great indoor-outdoor gathering and entertaining features and are also designed by Hart Howerton.
The Courtyard Townhomes, Yerba Buena Island
These townhomes offer the luxury as the other residences, but they also provide private interior courtyards in each home, a timeless architectural feature. With direct views of the Downtown San Francisco skyline, these Townhomes foster a daily connection with nature and the outdoors.
The Estate Homesites, Yerba Buena Island
Tagged as the most luxurious residences on Yerba Buena Island, The Estate Homesites is a limited collection of five estate homesites that allow the future owners to build custom single-family residences. Three home sites offer smooth, front-row views of the San Francisco skyline and the Golden Gate Bridge, while two homesites are perched above, capturing far-reaching, northwest views of the Bay and Clipper Cove.
All residents can enjoy amenities like a sauna, a massage room, an outdoor lap pool, a dining room, and the 14,000-square-foot private island club. There will be a hilltop park near the island club at a central location on the island, along with a five-mile hiking and biking trail.
The lavish project proposes these luxury homes on the island and also on its neighboring Treasure Island. Since Yerba Buena has a protected wildlife ecosystem, most of the new housing will be built on Treasure Island, with 75% of Yerba Buena remaining as open space.
