The first phase of the transformative Treasure Island redevelopment has officially finished with the opening of 490 Avenue of the Palms. The six-story apartment complex has added 148 condominiums to San Francisco’s rapidly changing man-made island in the heart of the bay. The project has been co-developed by the Treasure Island Development Group, a partnership with Lennar Corporation, Stockbridge Capital Group, and Wilson Meany.
Detailed plans have been published for the redevelopment of the existing GoPro Headquarters at 3000 Clearview Way in San Mateo, San Mateo County. The application looks to reshape the nearly 22-acre office campus with 222 residences, including townhomes and detached single-family homes. Harvest Properties is the project sponsor, in partnership with Stockbridge.
The Clearview Business Park in San Mateo was recently acquired by Harvest Properties in partnership with Stockbridge. The site, located at 3000–3155 Clearview Way, currently serves as business offices for multiple organizations, including the well-known camera company GoPro. Preliminary intentions for the site are to demolish the existing office buildings and construct up to 225 townhomes, bringing new housing to the area.
Construction has wrapped up, and leasing is underway for Hawkins, the six-story residential complex at 77 Bruton Street on Treasure Island, San Francisco. Move-ins started this month, with a range of studios to three-bedroom apartments. Lennar Corporation’s subsidiary, Quarterra Multifamily, is responsible for the project.
Late last month, YIMBY was invited to tour Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Island in San Francisco. Construction is pushing ahead on the first of several phases that will transform the two islands into a mixed-use neighborhood with roughly eight thousand apartments, retail, and public parks, and among the latest buildings to open includes the 22-story Isle House designed by David Baker Architects.
