Permits have been filed seeking the approval of redevelopment on multiple parcels located in Coral Gables Court, Sacramento. The project proposal includes the expansion of an existing apartment complex by adding three new apartment buildings and a new community clubhouse.
The John Stewart Company is the project developer. Mogavero Architects is managing the design concepts, and Brown Construction Inc is the general contractor managing the construction.

The project site measures an area of 19,120 square feet, combining three parcels: one spanning an area of 3,826 square feet and the other two 7,270 square feet each. The three three-story buildings will offer 38 housing units as a mix of eighteen one-bedroom and twenty two-bedroom units. The total residential built-up area is 63,080 square feet. On-site amenities include a community building, a playground, laundry, barbecue area, a management office, and open spaces. A parking space with a capacity of 84 vehicles and 36 bikes is also proposed.

The construction process would take approximately 14 months, with a target opening year of 2022.

The project is a part of a bigger development that also includes the rehabilitation of Villa Jardin Housing, a 44-unit residential complex. The property site (49, 63, 81 Coral Gables Court) is located adjacent to Villa Jardin Affordable Housing, and all amenities will be shared and used by Villa Jardin residents.
