A project review meeting has been requested to consider plans for two five-story duplexes at 144 Laidley Street in Glen Park, San Francisco. The development would replace an existing single-family building with four new units. EYRC Architects is responsible for the design.

The 62-foot tall structure will be built on a slight incline, yielding 10,100 square feet split between two buildings. Building A will include a 4,330 square foot main unit with a 598 square foot additional dwelling unit or ADU. Building B will produce a 4,320 square foot residence connected to a 624 square foot ADU. Parking will be included on-site for four vehicles.

FORMA Construction is the general contractor. Gary Bell & Associates Inc, a permit expediting firm, is managing the application process.
The Glen Park BART Station will be fifteen minutes away by foot, with SFMTA light rail found even closer. The project is by the southern edge of the retail-populated Mission Street thoroughfare, connecting the Mission District to the Central Business District. Nearby, at 159 Laidley Street, a new single-family design by Winder Gibson Architects is expected to rise.

The property was sold in September of 2019 for $2.55 million, and FORMA estimated construction would cost $3 million according to planning applications. The developer has indicated the two ADUs will be marketed for rent. An estimated timeline for construction has not yet been announced.
