General Plan Referral applications have been submitted, seeking acquisition of properties located on Mission Street and Sutter Street in San Francisco. The City, on behalf of its Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing, has proposed to purchase properties located at 3055-3061 16th Street, 1321 Mission Street, 5630 Mission Street, and 1800 Sutter Street.
3055-3061 16th Street
Mahadeva LLC is the property owner.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 3,055 square feet. The site currently houses twenty single residential units plus five tourist rooms, a shared kitchen on the second floor, and a small rear yard open space. The total built-up area of the building is 7,220 square feet. The ground floor of the building consists of retail space (liquor store).
1321 Mission Street
Mission Smartspace Senior LLC is the property owner.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 9,208 square feet. The property site houses a building improved with fifteen dwelling units. The total built-up area is 14,400 square feet.
5630 Mission Street
Jamna Investments LLC is the property owner.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 26,641 square feet. The property site houses a hotel improved with 52 tourist hotel rooms. The total built-up area is 20,977 square feet.
1800 Sutter Street
KHP III SF SUTTER LLC
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 13,973 square feet. The property site houses a hotel improved with 131 tourist hotel rooms. The total built-up area is 71, 180 square feet. The ground floor of the hotel consists of retail space.
The proposed purchase and sale of the properties is subject to regulatory approvals in the form of a General Plan Referral and CEQA determination.
