Permits have been filed seeking the approval of a new residential project at 1777 Clement Avenue in Alameda. The project proposal includes the development of a multifamily residential project with amenities and parking space.
Pacific Development is the project developer. BDE Architecture is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
Named The Launch, the residential project will bring 360 multifamily residences to a five-story building. The units will be offered as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units. Eight separate work+live units will also be designed. Off-street parking space with a capacity of 416 vehicles will be provided for residents and guests. Bike parking will also be developed on the site. The project consists of three types of construction: IA (garage), type IIIA, and V (residential). The total residential built-up area is 361,427 square feet.
The Launch will also provide an on-site leasing office. Amenities are inclusive of four interior courtyards with a pool, a spa, dog runs, fire pits, and lounge seating. Common outdoor facilities include a roof deck with barbecue space, a fitness room, and a club room.
The property will be connected from Clement Avenue to the Bay Trail and other marina amenities through a double-height, twenty-foot wide pedestrian corridor. The corridor runs along the amenity bar and interior courtyards of the project, allowing the site and project building to connect.
The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet. The project is a part of the Alameda Master plan located on Clement Avenue between Schiller and Alameda Marina Drive.
