A preliminary application has been filed seeking the approval of a residential project at 5885 Skyline Boulevard in Merriwood, Oakland. The project proposal includes the development of a residential project consisting of single-family dwellings, multi-family dwellings, and senior housing.
Mandalay Realty is the project developer. SJ Management, LLC is the property owner. Clark Civil Engineering is managing the design concepts.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 39.2 acres and will be divided into twelve lots. The project will bring 131 multi-family dwelling units at market and affordable rates. A total of 198 dwelling units will be reserved as senior housing. The unit size will be approximately measure 900 square feet.
Each residence will have a new cul-de-sac private access easement with two separate entries.
The project is under review and an estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet. The property site is located in a residential area with plenty of parking spaces.
